The Distance Between Your Problem & It's Solution...

Black Man! It’s 2024 and as always… I love you and I appreciate you!

I know it’s been a minute but I am back for 2024 and I vow to be more consistent this year, you have my word! Aight, let’s get to it!

The New Year always brings optimism and a renewed sense of focus that, “This year will be the year I get everything in line and do this and do that!” We all know the script that we run to ourselves. Don’t get me wrong, we are very well-intended and dead set on making the changes that will create the shift that we want. Yep and Black Man, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what we tell ourselves. However, too often we fail to add the most important ingredient when we go into the year ready to make the changes we are determined to see… Prayer.

Black Man, the shortest distance between your problem and your solution is the space between your knees and the floor. Praying changes things but more importantly, if we pray with our hearts and have faith in the power of prayer, our ears and eyes tend to open simultaneously and God shows us the way.

I can’t count how many times in my life, I set out to do something and had it planned and played out in my head and before I knew it, plans had gone awry and I was feeling in over my head. I had nowhere else to turn and without prompting I found myself questioning God as to “Why me?” Just starting that conversation and seeking his wisdom seemed to turn things around in no time, to be honest. From those experiences, I learned that when my plans seemed to get away from me, was God’s way of reminding me that he was the missing ingredient.

Now, I’m not saying that Prayer is the end all be all. No, it doesn’t work like that. You have to pray and continue working at what it is you want. Prayer serves as an acknowledgment to God that you are trusting and asking for direction because your heart and intentions are in the right place. God still requires that we do the work. Once your prayer goes up to the Lord, God begins to work simultaneously with you to put the necessary things in your path to ensure that what you set out to accomplish will come to fruition. Don’t get it twisted, God will leave and even place a few obstacles in your way to see just how much you really want what you are after and test your faith at the same time.

That’s why I urge you Black Man to start your plans with Prayer. Involving God from the beginning will alleviate the stress because he has promised to never forsake you. Although you may not know how, you know what the end result will be… You will end up with what God has in store for you…

All right Black Man I’m going to let you go, but before I do one last thing, worry not if what God has for you is not what you originally desired. His wisdom is infinite and ultimately better than we could have imagined. The Bible tells us so in, 1st Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. - In 2024, Black Man Unleash the Power of Prayer on your journey - for you are always a bent knee and a bowed head from finding the solution you desire!
