Black Man thank you, thank you, thank you! I am truly humbled that you keep tapping in to get my perspective on things! Time is a valuable commodity and it is not lost on me that every week you take a small moment out of your time to read my message! I truly appreciate that! Black Man, as always I love you and appreciate you, now let's get it!

Last week we talked about sizing up your goals and as we continue on this Goal Getting Series - let me give you the next part of the game… Seeing is believing!

Alright, I want you to think about this for a second. The phone or computer that you are using to read this message with was first created in the designer’s mind before it physically materialized in the real world. The way it looks, the way it feels, and every aspect of the device was thought out by someone before the concept was given to the manufacturers to mass produce it.

Now let’s expand on that a bit further, the car you own, the house you live in, your TV, your shoes, I can keep going obviously… But everything in our world started out as a conceptual idea in someone’s mind. Black Man, that same energy is what you must tap into to achieve the goals that you desire. You have to see the end result, you have to know how it looks, and how it feels, and everything about it must be thought out in order for it to truly manifest itself in your reality. For somebody reading this, the lack of vision is the missing ingredient...

Black Man, every single day people set out on the road to success thinking, "Today is the day, I been putting in work, today is going to be the day that it all falls in place." However, they are constantly passing up the “house” or missing their “turn” because they have never been “there” before and don’t know how “it” looks. That is why it is of the utmost importance that after you have sized up your goals and determined that you are willing to do what is necessary to achieve the goal(s) that you have set out to do that you begin to visualize what it looks like when you have achieved the goal. Seeing is believing!

Visualization strengthens your discernment. If you ever wondered how some people always seem to get it right or they seem to be one step ahead, it is because they have taken the necessary time to play out the possible scenarios in their mind before the situation actually took place. By doing the “prework” they are able to move effortlessly in the right direction, they aren’t bogged down by indecision because they have a very good sense of how things will play out based on the given options they are presented with.

Are they always right? No, but they seem to always find themselves in a good position because one of the key results of visualizing your success is that you know exactly what it doesn’t look like. Thus, you are less likely to be “lost” on your journey of success.

How to create your vision of success - If you are wondering “how” to create the vision, I suggest that you keep it simple. Grab a paper and a pencil and find a place where you can be alone, undisturbed with your thoughts for 30 minutes to an hour. Start off by asking yourself "What does success look like for me?" What would you have to have accomplished in your life to feel like “I am successful and everything that I do from this point is just the cherry on top…” From there, begin to write down what your relationship with God is at that moment of success. Next, move to if you are married, describe your marriage, kids, describe your relationship with them and what they are doing. Keep going to the house(s) that you live in/own, the cars, the wardrobe, the charitable organizations, describe it all… This may take more than an hour, this may be done daily for a week, however long it takes, get that fully done and be sure to be as vivid in your description as possible. Write down all that comes to you while you are in that “space” mentally and when you are finished, you will have your true vision of success.

After you have created your ideal future, take 10 - 15 minutes 3 or 4 times a day to read over it and begin to “see” it as you described it. Try not to miss a day for 21 days, (the amount of time traditionally accepted that it takes for an action to become habitual.) Before you know it, you will have the image so ingrained in your mind that you will start to see “it” seemingly everywhere. From TV to your Timeline, you will see your vision of success in some shape or fashion all around you. That is God’s way of providing you a confirmation to go for it! For what the mind can conceive you can achieve! Black Man - Proverbs 29:18 gives us the Blue Print, For where there is no vision the people will perish, but those that keep the law, happy will they be!

Black Man, once again - thanks for tapping in and I am going to keep this one short and sweet! See you next week with Part 3!
